Distribution Software
The Distribution Software System is designed for those retailers and distributors that take customer orders, fill them, and then ship the product to the Customer for the majority of their business.

Unlike the POS system designed for classic retail operations where customers browse the shelves and select merchandise and then bring it to a register to "check out" and carry home, the Distribution Software System is aimed at those businesses that have "parts counters" (auto parts, electrical parts, HVAC parts, lighting products, all other types of supply houses), inside sales people that take orders over the phone, eCommerce businesses that take orders on a website, and catalog sales businesses that put out catalogs. In short, all of those distribution business where your employee pulls the merchandise for delivery to the customer, whether the delivery is across your parts counter, by your delivery truck, or by common carriers like UPS, Fedex, or freight line.

The OnTarget Order Entry module is designed to be used in both local area network and Wide area network configurations. It includes and is completely interfaced with the Financial Accounting modules, the Inventory module, and the Accounts Receivable module. It fully interfaces with the OnTarget eCommerce website software. Like the POS system, it fully interfaces with the VeriFoneŽ PCChargeŽ credit, debit, and check card approval software as well.
