The OnTarget Point of Sale system is a feature rich, effective system for selling your products in a retail environment. It is simple to learn and use, quick in its’ operation. It has all of the control that you want built into the background.

OnTarget Point of Sale supports POS equipment including integrated POS terminals, cash drawers, check scanners, 40 column thermal and impact slip printers, bar code scanners, pole displays, magnetic stripe card readers, pin pads, and signature capture devices. Because OnTarget Point of Sale is so versatile, we can configure the system to meet your particular needs. This means that you are not forced to buy equipment you won’t be using in your application. Due to our close relationships with a major POS equipment distributor we can provide you with complete "turn-key" POS systems, using top quality, brand name equipment, with OnTarget Point of Sale already installed.

OnTarget POS is scalable too. Because it is designed to be multi user, network capable and uses Microsoft SQL Server (SQL server Express which comes free with the software for smaller operations, SQL Server 2005 or later, if you are a large multi location operation), you can start with a single POS station in one location, and expand it to literally thousands of POS stations in hundreds of locations across the country.

OnTarget POS can be Interfaced to Verifone® software, enabling you to accept Credit Cards, Debit Cards and other forms of electronic funds payments, getting authorizations in moments through dial up modem, or internet connection. You can add a check scanner and use check approval services as well. You define which types of payment your clerks can accept when you install and setup the software. You can even enter the discount rate you pay on each type of payment so the software can include it in calculating the profitability on the sales reports.

OnTarget Point of Sale "Sales" module, in addition to invoicing, gives you the ability take returns and issue credits, void invoices, and re-print receipts. It allows you to maintain Sales Tax tables easily. If you are a multi-location operation you can maintain the sales taxes that are charged at each location, from the central office. The Sales Tax can be broken down into State, County, Local, Special Rate 1 and Special Rate 2, and all sales tax rates are tracked and reported on. Sales Personnel are also tracked with reports displaying Gross sales, and Gross Dollar profit and Profit percent, so you can identify your most, and least effective employees. The Sales Reports are flexible and complete giving you Invoice and Item detail totals as well as profitability. Sales are also broken down by Department category. Commission reports, and Comparative Sales by Salesman are also available. Interfaced to the Inventory Module, allows control to be provided to your inventory system, as item in stock counts are reduced "real-time" at the point of sale.

OnTarget Point of Sale Inventory module allows you to control your biggest asset your stock of Inventory. It maintains product description, pricing, costing, and stocking data, as well as sales analysis figures for each item. It allows you to identify which Items are "Moving" and which items are laying there "dead" on the shelf. It includes minimum and maximum ordering levels and provides Recommend Re-Ordering reports. There are special reports and input jobs designed to greatly reduce the burden of taking physical inventory. You can create Purchase Orders for new stock and fax or email them directly to your vendor from the desktop. When the merchandise arrives and has been counted, you can "receive" the Purchase Order and Stock Levels, "OnOrder" levels and cost information will be updated automatically. You can cross-reference stock items to other stock items. You can transfer stock between locations. With "Kit Building" you can combine different items into a new product and sell them as a single new product. Then using our Print bar code function print your own barcode label for it. There are numerous reports including Valuation and Review, Price List, Profit Margin, Recommended Ordering, Purchase Orders report, Print bar code labels, and a report that shows all of the invoices for a particular item over a particular period of time.
